Norwegian Emergency-Clinic Doctor Attends IRON MAIDEN Concert During Work Hours
August 13, 2010According to Dagbladet, a Norwegian emergency-clinic doctor left his patients waiting for treatment this past Wednesday (August 11) while he attended an IRON MAIDEN show in Bergen during work hours.
The doctor, who was one of two physicians on duty the night of the concert, told the Bergens Tidende newspaper that he unsuccessfully tried to switch his shift with another doctor before leaving for the MAIDEN gig. He also said that he was under the impression that things were slow enough at the clinic so that he could afford to make it to work a little bit later than usual.
The doctor has since been relieved of his emergency-clinic duties while the facility attempts to get to the bottom of the situation.
